The brand-spanking-new line of lit, “Mommy porn,” has caught the imaginations of men and women, alike. The steamy trilogy is said to be based heavily on the Twilight series, and packs a kinky wallop.
Heralded as ‘female-targeted erotica, the books are said to be packaged for “the mainstream reader.” Main streamers( defined as ardent followers of Danielle Steel?) may be uninformed about such kinky bits as BDSM – not to be confused with BCBG- and may need a primer on the finer points of Bondage and dominance.

BDSM is an erotic preference and a form of personal relationship involving the consensual use of restraint, intense sensory stimulation, and fantasy power role-play. The acronym BDSM combines bondage and discipline (B&D or B/D), dominance and submission
Plot? Purple Prose
You will surely recognize the 50 Shades of Grey plot: College co-ed, (naturally, a virgin) Anastasia Steele, agrees to sex of every stripe with the handsome, evil, yet seductive, and manipulative billionaire, with the classic soap opera name: Christian Grey. (Get it?) All puns regarding Grey’s Anatomy stop here.
Early on, Anastasia declares her literary prowess when she pouts that she would rather be reading, “a classic British novel,” than going to see the billionaire. Trollope, perhaps?
Last year, Dr Oz announced Four Fab Libido Lifting Foods
Flash forward and America’s favorite TV Doctor, Dr Oz, is talking about books and enhancing your libido. Want to know more about this risque romp into BDSM and mommy porn? Curious about what you might be missing and what “main streamers” read?
Danielle Steel, darling, eat your heart out….
